Thames Water has 3,600km of large diameter trunk mains, dominated by thick cast iron. We use risk modelling to target investment on a network-wide level, but detailed pipe condition data would help us select the most suitable interventions. We’re preparing to evaluate in-pipe scanning devices in a full-scale test rig
