Session 2B: The application of In-river sensors and satellite data for monitoring dissolved organic carbon (DOC) in surface waters -Jonathan Ritson & Nigel Graham, Imperial College London/TWENTY65

23/05/2019

Here we present data from a scanning UV-Visible spectrometer deployed in-river to capture high-frequency dissolved organic carbon (DOC) estimates, as well as remote sensing data to estimate DOC and chlorophyll-a concentration at multiple sites. These two technologies offer a significant improvement to current monitoring methods, however both also have limitations.we present data from a scanning UV-Visible spectrometer deployed in-river to capture high-frequency dissolved organic carbon (DOC) estimates, as well as remote sensing data to estimate DOC and chlorophyll-a concentration at multiple sites.
