Design of Our Tyne” - £2K to bring to life a 3D visualisation of a greener Tyne Estuary
The Tyne Estuary Partnership are seeking inspiration to visualise how the Newcastle Quayside could be transformed and what this green space could look like.
Funding will be awarded by the Environment Agency.

“Mapping Invasive & Non- Native Species – remote sensing opportunities” - £2K to map INNS in the Old Durham Beck
Wear Rivers Trust is looking for a more cost effective and consistent way of mapping invasive plant species in the Wear catchment.
Budget: £2,000

“Inspiring people to care about our rivers through digital technologies” – £1.5K for an options appraisal
National Trust want to explore how digital tech can attract new audiences to engage with rivers. They want to see what is possible and how they could adopt this
technology. They will award a contract of £1500 to the winning range of ideas.

“Using Augmented and Virtual Reality for enhancing householder flood preparedness and resilience” - £3K for a feasibility study
Teesside University are offering a £3000 contract on preparing an initial feasibility study into how Augmented and/or Virtual Reality can be practically applied to
enhancing householder flood preparedness and resilience.
