I am a chartered mechanical engineer and have worked in the water industry for over twenty years - as Head of Innovation for Anglian Water for the last 15 years. My career started in the manufacturing industry where I was involved in the research, design and manufacture of new technology. At Anglian Water I have delivered major capital projects in water and wastewater treatment, I've also chaired the Industrial Advisory Group at Cranfield University, been Leader of the European WssTP water and energy nexus task force, and am the chairman of the STREAM programme (collaboration between 5 UK universities supporting water related EngD projects).
